So there we were April 2009 sitting in front of the computer typing "small dog breeds" into the google search. Having not owned a dog for near thirty years this was going to be a big decision, and one that needed some family discussion. On thing was for sure.............the dog would be a male. I'm definitely outnumbered round here with the wife, three daughters and two female cats!! That leaves me and the budgie, and I'm still not real sure about him. All of a sudden a dog comes up in the search that looks like a winner, a bit like a Shih Tzu  but without "the door just slammed in my face look" (now that's gonna go down well with the Shih Tzu people). 
The Lhasa Apso was the winner, and a quick measure up of the cat door to confirm he could go in and out when he wanted, breeder contacted, puppy available and that was it. Then it was back to the breeder in July (cause he's gotta have a playmate), and then I discovered this whole different world of dog showing and along came number three.
The title says "the beginning", and that's cause it is, but I thought I would place this website up and share our story with the Lhasa Apsos. 
We attend shows nearly every weekend and you can keep up to date with our hits and misses on the news page.
